This post delves deeper into “Sleep Recovery”.
In Sleep Medicine terminology, recovery from sleep is the equilibrium between the two (2) competing Sleep Forces:
- Pressure to sleep that is built-up during the day (Homeostatic Pressure)
- Pressure to stay awake that is consumed during the day (Circadian Rhythm)

Inadequate sleep leads to incomplete recovery, which in turn, impacts your mood, cognition, energy levels the next day!
